The Tetra Line Thrower is similar in operation to a standard bolt-action firearm but uses only Tetra Power Loads, which are supplied by Cap-Chur Equipment, for use in the Tetra Line Throwers. It is loaded, discharged and unloaded in a similar way to many single shot, bolt action rifles. It features a spigot type Barrel to guide the Safety Line Weight, which has four gas vents placed at 90-degree angles to the direction of firing. This means that it is safe to use because it is virtually impossible to fire any projectile other than the special Tetra Safety Line Weights.
Aiming the Tetra Line Thrower is much the same as aiming a shotgun except for the more curved trajectory of the Safety Line Weight and Line.
There are no sights fitted apart from the Guide Rib on the top of the Blast Arrestor as the Tetra Line Thrower is aimed ‘instinctively’. Practice with the type of Line, the strength of Power Load, and the type of Safety Line Weight to be used is essential to achieve proficiency and accuracy with the Tetra Line Thrower.
Recoil force varies according to the strength of Power Load used but even with a High (Green) Tetra Power Load it is never greater than approximately that of a 12 gauge shotgun. To minimize the effects of recoil always pull the Tetra Line Thrower firmly into your shoulder before firing.
